a little bit about theresa

I am a Louisiana based wedding photographer, a seasoned wife of over almost 15 years, a learning mother to one heck of a determined daughter and a happy resident of suburbia New Orleans. I am a boutique wedding photographer that serves no more than 22 clients in the New Orleans area and 3 clients worldwide in one year.

My style is romantic, airy, and editorial feeling, a term I have adopted recently is soft vogue. It is luxurious but doesn't lack true emotion and the way I hand edit will stand the test of time hanging on your walls. I love a good trend, but my overall vision for you is to have photographs from your wedding day that are true to life yet beautiful and will remain so over the decades. I love to push for greatness by creating genuine interactions with you and your partner. The pivotal moments during a wedding are often falling in between the traditionally huge moments.

Having been in business for over ten years and photographing over 300 weddings, I have come to realize the most important thing to remember is that there is plenty more to a wedding than the standard shots and photography in general. Including sessions in your wedding collection is a GREAT idea. Not only does it give you the opportunity to use the photographs before the wedding but it also helps us bond with each other and allows you to be comfortable in front of the camera. I help plan your session by suggesting outfit inspiration, suggesting sessions that mean something to you in addition to being beautiful. POSING? Yes I know it sounds scary but I am very talkative during our session and a lot of the time is spent having fun with prompts to acheive the candid look and draw our your natural relationship.
